And that is me getting to leave work.

Nothing in the scheme of things, but…

It’s so lovely when you make an ass of yourself in front of someone you truly admire.  Truly humiliating.

My date for the rest of the day…

My date for the rest of the day…

I will be spending the second half of my Friday with a 2 and 1/2 year-old who refuses to potty train or let me change his diaper, and a 7 month-old who wants to put anything dangerous in her mouth, but refuses to let me feed her baby food.  This will be nine million times more fun than how I am spending the first half: at work.

Hypocrisy is a poor argument.

Everyone is hypocritical at some point.  I know “a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds*” and all, but even a little mind is inconsistent from time to time.  Therefore, stop arguing against the other side of the political/sociological/religious/whatever debate on grounds of hypocrisy unless it is a fundamental hypocrisy.  Otherwise it just becomes this overly technical, quasi-ad hominem argument that doesn’t further anything.
